Born and raised in Modesto, Mr. Reed began his career as an abstract painter in 2004 after studying business at UC Berkeley and Oxford University. With no formal fine art education and challenged by a color-blindness since birth, Trey Reed found his niche in texture, pattern and patina. Starting from his own living room Reed began by doing large commissions in a timely manner for the central valley society and branched from there. Today, Trey has sold well over 700 paintings through commissions and gallery affiliation in Modesto, San Francisco, New York and Europe.
